I just moved from Portland, Oregon to Denver and I was nervous to find a new stylist––knowing that not everyone knows how to cut Asian hair well (lots of uneven bobs and over-thinning...eek!). I was prepared to try out a few salons, but on my first try at Salon Joa, I found Cristela and I am definitely going back! She not only knew how to work with my straight and silky hair, but she also explained and showed me how to style my hair to get the result I wanted. I wasn't able to find a single picture of the exact cut that I wanted, so I brought in 5 different photos. She asked clarifying questions and she was able to piece together what I wanted EXACTLY. I love my hair cut (!!!) and I will definitely be back to see Cristela again!
