If you haven't been to Salon Joa, I suggest you reevaluate your current stylist. This place is NICE. The staff offers drinks once you walk in. Give it a try, any service you can think of, I bet they have it.

Beautiful salon. I loved the environment. However at the end of the day I'd rather go to a dump salon and leave with amazing nails than go to a beautiful salon and leave with poor quality nails. I made an appointment with a friend of mine. When we arrived they only had one of us on the books for the day. It was my friends mistake, she put the wrong day down when she requested the appointment. However... Instead of taking care of me, they serviced my friend first, and it was the nail tech I requested. I guess there was no one else who could do my nails so I had to just wait and watch as my friend had her nails done. My friend was only getting polish, and I was getting a full set and polish. We were rushed for time at the end, so my nails were rushed. Anyone that has had their nails done knows tips take more time and care than a simple polish. So I had to leave with uneven and rough nails. A week later one popped right off as I was grabbing groceries out of my car. So overall... I'll stick with my $30 set that lasts 4 weeks or more from the hole in the wall salon, over the $60 set that doesn't last.

Hoa has been cutting my hair since I moved to Denver more than eight years ago. He is one of the hardest working people I know and I am absolutely thrilled that he and Jo were able to create their own space. "Barber Hoa" also cuts my children's hair and they actually look forward to getting their haircuts each and every time. I would highly recommend him and anyone else at the salon as the level of expertise at Salon Joa is second to none.
