The jury is still out. I showed up early to my appointment and then was informed when I checked in that my hair stylist was running late due to a flat tire. I asked how long it would be and was told 20-30 min late, although she wasn't sure. I asked if I could swap around my nail appointment then, and then all of a sudden my hair stylist was only going to be 5-10 min late. No apologies. I get that accidents happen, but you'd think they would've been more apologetic about the impact on me, the paying customer. I ended up having to switch from a deluxe to a regular manicure because I was worried about time, too. Maybe it would've been fine but I was not at all convinced they were worried about timing. The hair cut was fine, and actually she cut off significantly more than I had asked. I told her I was growing my hair out so take off the smallest amount possible.. she still took off more than an inch. Nails were fast and efficient. My manicurist was friendly and talkative, and did a good job. Even the weird accident aside, though, I'm not sure I could go back. It is not well ventilated and the chemical fumes made my eyes sting for hours after I'd left. I forgot how spoiled I was by my old salon.

I had a fantastic experience today! Everyone was so friendly and Crystal did an amazing job on my hair color, saving me just days before my wedding! Going to be going back for sure!

Jay was personable and went above and beyond in making sure I was comfortable and liked my cut. "Let me know if the hairdryer ever gets too hot etc." As someone who has gotten burned from her stylist's hairdryer at other salons, I appreciated his attentiveness! I never felt rushed even though I asked for many revisions near the end of my cut. Thanks Jay for a great first visit to Salon Joa, and I hope to see you next time!

They always go out of their way to help out and make you feel special. The stylist here are great ! They are like best friends

I love Salon Joa and my stylist Christina. She listens to what I want and gives me a wonderful haircut that suits my face and the characteristics of my hair (mostly straight with waves and curls where they are least desirable). There's free parking in a lot behind the salon. Inside you are offered beverages and mints and lollipops. Everything is very clean,m modern and inviting.
