When my daughter and I walked in for our scheduled apt. time we almost left. The place was packed and kids were running all over the place. Two boys that were too big to be on the climber were running up and down the slide and crashing their toy cars into each other. I felt like I was at a circus. Every hair stylist was covered in tattoos. It was very unsettling to me. My daughter made several comments leaving about the amount of tattoos that were on the necks, arms, and legs of the hair stylists. This is not a bar or restaurant. This is a place where children go to receive hair services. I think the owner/manager should make the employees cover their tattoos with arm sleeves. This is what our dentists does. I have four children and we have been going to Cookie Cutters for years and this was proabably our last visit. $25 for a child haircut is outrageous to me.

We’ve been coming for a couple of years. My youngest has to go to a separate salon because cookie cutters is just too much chaos feel inside especially the last 2 times we’ve gone. Maybe it’s just poor timing but kids screaming through their haircut (breaks my heart but you gotta do what you gotta do… it makes my kids feel more uneasy when they go in) the staffs not super personable and we requested a specific person when we signed up online and didn’t get her - we didn’t even see her so maybe something came up, I think for us it’s just worth paying more for a more peaceful experience from now on, maybe it just wasn’t as busy or because it was new when we started 🤷‍♀️

Love the environment! But this is the second time my son’s haircut is pretty messed up. Not straight lines, not blended well.

I took my daughter in to get her hair trimmed. She asked for a half inch off only and ended up with about 4 inches off. Plus her haircut was so uneven. The lady tried to fix it but as you can see in the picture which is the end result, it looks terrible and so uneven everywhere. We were both ready to cry as my daughter had been growing her hair out for awhile. Now I have to spend more money to go to another place to get it fixed and it will end up being super short to even get it fixed.

I feel like the price of a haircut is pretty high considering it only takes like 15 minutes. But what I find irritating is that it doesn't include the cost of the hair wash. To get a quick shampoo is $6! That's ridiculous!

The salon is really gross. People are very nice, but its a busy place so hiring a person to clean well between customers might be wise. Chairs and supplies not cleaned at all between visits. (No, a hairdryer blowing some of the hair off the chairs does not count as cleaning). Hair covers every surface of the room. Will only be coming back to use the one remaining credit on our member card, then will likely be going elsewhere.
