In general, we have been happy with our two experiences at this Cookie Cutters. The environment overall does not seem especially clean; there’s an old fragrance plug-in in the wall and kids’ seats are all in terrible shape. I did see stylists cleaning the seats after each kid, but they certainly don’t look clean. Both of our stylists have been nice but not overly friendly. The second time, she was much better at helping ease my child’s fears and keeping him distracted. Overall, I’m happy to pay for this service because it’s not something I can do myself, but I do wish for the price that the quality/cleanliness of the salon was better.

I don’t think the staff is patient when you request more different style, she will show you attitude. However her skill is good. Thanks.

I am very frustrated. The stylist we had today was very rough and multiple times he actually said ow and stop. We have been coming here 2 years with no issue. She seems very inexperienced with kids expecting him to do exactly what she wanted. I showed her the picture of previous haircut, and what he got was very different than what I asked not to mention ridiculously short. When I said something she said it was fine and gel would hold it. Which was even more frustrating. I will not allow her to do his hair again and she needs sensitivity training when it comes to kids. Not once has Elias been an issue for another stylist or a bad haircut for that matter. I kept it together paid full price for a very bad haircut and even tipped her as I didn’t want to make a scene and she did do the work. Please educate her how to work with kids and not be so rough. He’s 4 not 40.

I love taking my kids to cookie cutters but we did have a different hairstylist this time and she kept calling my 4 year old son dude and got flustered with the little boy next to us who was crying.

I appreciate that this employee put her mask on seeing our vaccinated family. She did a decent job on his hair. She asked if masks were required for school and when I said no, despite our entire family being masked, she went on around how great that was and it needs to stay that way. I can for hair cuts, not your personal opinion that clearly differs from mine. She had no right to spew that to my child. Her opinion has no place in a hair salon. SHe is not a physician and should not be giving COVID protocol input.

I asked for a very specific haircut, leaving the picture out as well. It was a big deal as my son’s hair was going from long to shorter. I asked to leave it long on the top and it was totally chopped. I kept saying it’s getting too short and she just kept cutting. She also seemed agitated and like she just wanted to get it over with. This was a big deal to us, cutting our son’s hair shorter for the first time and we are sad that it went the way it did. I’ve always had such good experiences at Cookie Cutters with the stylists seeming in tune with us and also carefully following instruction (and slowly cutting and asking if it was a big change). Super bummed this time.
