I really appreciated the person who cut Deans hair. She took the hint from our family that we were masked and asked if I would like her to mask. Dean is a medically complex child who cannot afford to have COVID or any other respiratory infection. He can end up in the hospital from regular respiratory illnesses. Unfortunately others in the salon do not seem to have any concern for others and the overall vibe was that we were being judged for wearing masks. I will be taking my business elsewhere despite having come to cookie cutters since it opened.

I look around the salon when I bring in my grandson and am concerned about how bazaar they look. I have had at least five haircuts at this location and only one was substandard. The manager made it right at the next appointment, but now I'm Leary when I walk in. I will no longer accept just 'any' hairstylist when we walk in the door.

I didn’t appreciate that I walked in on time to my appointment and people that walked in. Right before me were given priority. If you’re late to your own appointment others shouldn’t be made to wait.

My kids love going to our local Cookie Cutters. I was a bit disappointed this time around. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and none of the employees were wearing masks. I almost walked out but I did not want to disappoint my excited kids. The employees see client after client and work with children who are not vaccinated. None of them washed their hands in between clients. A male employee was talking face-to-face to each kid as they were getting their haircut. I do not think I can return to this location for awhile.

I love this concept, I loved the play area and cars the kids get to sit in and the tvs at each station. It was a bit chaotic and wasn't as clean as I'd have like to have seen. Some kids got balloons, mine didn't, not a big deal but it kind of showed how the process wasn't really streamlined. Unattended kids were digging into stuff behind the register (not the salon's fault but again lent to the chaos). However, with my daughter's cut they asked if they could do extra fun stuff (glitter, a braid and stuff for her curls) and she really enjoyed it and felt special all day. I don't know for the price per haircut, I'm glad we went here but I'll probably stick with a quick cut place unless it's a special occasion.

This is a great place for kids. However, it is always super busy & even when you schedule an appt they are always behind & it never on time which can be frustrating wasting time waiting when you have a scheduled appt booked.
