I know the TVs are for kids to be entertained and distracted but sometimes I imagine it’s very overwhelming for kids too. To have four kids getting haircuts and different shows on and all the noise plus some kids screaming or crying, it’s a stressful environemtn

Sharlah and the receptionist were both amazing and helpful with our son's haircut. He's still not used to it but both were very patient.

We had an excellent experience at Cookie Cutters in Northville, MI. My son (23 mo) is terrified of getting his hair cut. First, the place was adorably decorated, welcoming, and clean. The whole staff went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. No one was rushing him or forcing him to do anything. Everyone spoke in a soft, calming voice and really took their time getting him warmed up to the experience. With my permission, they offered different toys, songs, shows, seating options, treats, and balloons. The hair dresser, Jessica, was amazing! She gave our son an great haircut even with him squirming. She was very patient and encouraging. Definitely would come back again and recommend to other families.

We drive a ways just to see Miss Tammie, Grace is Deaf and she is able to communicate with her with ASL, also thrvTV’s have Closed Captions so she has full access to everything

Was 4 minutes late due to power outage in area and traffic due to lights being out. Had to wait at least 5 minutes to even check in (receptionist was on the phone). Finally was told by Trish that we were now too late for our appointment and would need to be considered a walk-in. If this is truly the policy (I wasn’t able to find it in writing anywhere), that wouldn’t be a problem. However, Trish was EXTREMELY rude about it. We have been coming here for at least 6 years but will not be back ever. The hair cut is pricy and we never really get a great heart cut. The treatment by Trish was downright wrong and the last straw. We’ve had several run ins with her before in the years we’ve been there and have felt very uncomfortable with her behavior. It’s really unfortunate because most of the people that work here are nice enough and provide a pretty good service. Trish ruined it.
