She didn’t confer with me about the top of my son’s head only the sides slapped a guard on and before I could say anything she went for it. My son gets a certain haircut to prevent it from looking like he has bald spots. Didn’t ask, didn’t really apologize either. I had no time to respond she just went for it. I’m incredibly frustrated and his father and I agreed this is the last time we are taking him to any cookie cutters location.

My daughter had a hair cut today and this is the first time I have not been impressed with Cookie Cutters. I had scheduled with Melissa who we have loved in the past. Melissa had another client she had to cut so we were placed with Lexi. This is the first time my daughter’s hair was cut dry which I thought was odd. The hair cut also took about two minutes which I realize a child’s hair cut is not intricate but this was super quick. Not impressed.

We were able to get in with Angela on his first visit. She did a wonderful job. She did not have any appointments this time. Being from out of town, we thought we’d try someone different, due to our circumstances. We saw Melissa. Angela took her time. Melissa… rushed!! And that is an understatement. His neck line is crocked. There are long spots over his ears. Just overall, we should have tried to see if Angela had a wait list.

Sons father brought him in for his usual, and the stylist completely butchered the cut. Typically I bring him myself and assure that I am satisfied thourghly with the service, but was stuck working a 16 hour shift. They sent him home, unstyled. And this is why! It looks a hot damn mess. Hope has never cut his hair before, and I’ll be sure to request a stylist from here out. The hard part was not put in, length on top chopped and butchered

I have not had great experiences at this location. I use to always go to the Dayton location, which I will return to. My sons hair never gets blended well, and I showed them a picture for my daughters haircut and instead of one length (pixie), the girl basically copied and pasted my sons haircut on my daughter. Also, the stylist maybe said 3 words the entire visit. I felt very rushed and like a bother for bringing my kids in.

I took 3 kids in for haircuts. My oldest has been to this salon before for a cut with her aunt and they did a great job. The stylist that cut her hair yesterday also did a great job. A different stylist cut my younger children’s hair. Her name was Lexi. Lexi does not seem to be very good with children. I have a very anxious preschooler that has a lot of trouble sitting still and she was not friendly with her and rather snappy. She did do a great job on her hair, though. What really upset me was her behavior with me about my 2 year-old son. My son has very curly hair that was long, as it had never been cut. I showed her a photo of what I wanted, which is a very popular style for little boys right now, shaved on the sides and back, but still kind of long on the top. Lexi argued with me about the top of his hair and insisted that she was going to cut at least half of his length because it wouldn’t blend. It wasn’t supposed to blend! I should have stopped her there and been done with it, but I am very non-confrontational. My partner said maybe 1/3 of it and she again insisted at least 1/2. I reluctantly agreed to that and she wound up cutting WAY more than that. I am furious about how his hair turned out. It’s nothing like the photo I showed her and nothing like what I wanted. The top is much shorter. My son’s beautiful curls are mostly gone. I have no doubt that she is probably great at cutting hair, but her attitude with my 4 year-old and with me was unacceptable. If you cannot handle cutting kids’ hair and give the kids a little grace, you should not be working in Cookie Cutters. We will absolutely not be coming back to this location because of her behavior and how badly she messed up my son’s first haircut.
