I was referred to visit clean-cut a couple of years ago by my oldest son who lived in Columbia Missouri at the time. The main reason I like going to Clean cut is because of the punch card and the one free beer per visit. The younger kids also would also get a snack and juice or soda. We got our haircut last night and when we finished we were told that your company would no longer be using the punch cards. I was also told that the beer that I had during my visit was going to be added to the bill. I at first thought that was strange because I had always had a beer before my haircut in the past and I had never been charged. Then I thought maybe I didn't understand that free beer wasn't a part of your companies enticing customer service policies and I had been making a mistake these last couple of years. However, I later remembered that I had been told on many occasions by the employees during past appointments that a complimentary beer was always a part of the service. So I figured that since the company got rid of the punch cards it must have gotten rid of the complimentary beer. Clean-cut service is great but the location of the building isn't close to my work or my home. The punch card and free beer were my motivation to return and continue using the service. There are much closer barbershops in my area so continuing to go to a clean-cut barbershop might have run its course.

Pricing is not posted anywhere, whats the price for a haircut and for a beard trim? Got some razorburn that I wasn't happy about. Didn't recognize anyone while I was there, turnover must be terrible. Not sure if that is a reflection of ownership/manager or not.

They stylist had dull clippers and dull scissors. Nothing like getting your hair pulled instead of cut. Asked if I wanted my mustache trimmed said yes she buzzed it off. That is not a trim on a mustache. Told her the hair was longer on on side as she was cutting it and her response was its thicker on that side. My hair is definitely thick. But thickness has nothing to do with length. If I do go back I definitely will get a different person to cut my hair.

Everyone was professional and friendly. However, after asking 3 times to shorten the length and showing a picture/example of the length I preferred to the stylist she still didn't get the length right. I felt awkward having to ask a fourth time to cut it shorter. My sons also got their haircuts the same day and the stylists did exactly what I asked them to do.

My son and I arrived 10 minutes late, so we had to cancel our shampoos which I completely understand. We were late and we needed to accommodate for that. After doing my hair however, my son was rushed through because her our barber's next appointment was 10 minutes early. When she said she was finished, I had to request she complete the front of my sons hair which she did very quickly. I didn't have a chance to see the back of his hair until we got home and realized the back does not seem like it was worked on. His hair looks like someone put a bowl on top of his head and cut around it. If you look at my history, I'm not one to complain, even if I get below average service, but this was not a good experience. I felt rushed and paid for an incomplete haircut just so the barber could get to her next paying customer. We will continue to go back to Clean Cuts, but we will actively avoid that barber. She may be an amazing barber and a great employee, she's just not for us. Thank you for reading all of this and I hope you have a great day. Signed, Robert Francis
