I left a 10 dollar tip for a toddler’s haircut. I don’t know if my son is just growing up or if the stylist did things differently than those who’ve come before her at Cookie Cutters but I was impressed. My son was visibly nervous/anxious as he was shaking in the seat but he was brave. Any one wrong move by the stylist would have sent him over the edge into a full meltdown but that wrong move never came. By the end of the cut, my son was at peace with what was happening to him and I was speechless. Many thanks!

The hair stylist was very aggressive and rude. She made me feel as if my son was inconveniencing her. My son was getting his 2nd haircut and was not happy she did not attempt to help me calm him and just stood there. At one point she cut her finger and blames it on my 2 year old. I did not see until we got home but my son has scrapes on three different areas of his head where she cut him. He also has marks in his neck due to her using the clippers so aggressively. The ONLY reason I MIGHT return is because they are the only place that is truly a kids environment for hair cuts.

I originally booked a haircut for my 5 year old daughter but brought my 8 year old son along as well, hoping the stylists could fit him in somewhere, to which they kindly obliged. I thought it was worth rating our experience at Cookie Cutters because not only were the workers kind and professional, my children received the best haircuts they've ever had. My daughter has very curly hair, so cutting it the wrong way can result in an enormous, weird looking poof of hair on top of her head. Fortunately, it was layered very nicely and she looks absolutely adorable with the cut. Also, my son is very picky about how his hair is cut and is self-conscious if it is cut too short on top. I can't believe how perfectly smooth the stylist blended the short, buzzed hair around the sides of his head with the longer hair on top. My husband commented about how much he likes the kids' hairstyles when we got home, which is something he rarely notices. I'm glad we tried out Cookie Cutters instead of going to the typical chain salons near our home.

Stacey is AMAZING. She’s so kind and patient. My kid cries pretty much the whole time and she handles it with grace and never acts inconvenienced or irritated by his fits. Cleanliness is a 10 and the environment is so welcoming. I feel so fortunate to have found Stacey and Cookie Cutters! Big fan.

We have gone to cookie cutters in Pickerington for 2.5 yr and always had Leah. Although her tact and friendliness is never a priority I have been happy with the cut she gives my son. Today my daughter had her first cut although she is older and the experience was not great. I bring pictures, have an idea and am very specific(one of those moms) my daughters bangs and back of hair was choppy and short (one thing I said before starting is no matter what don’t cut the bangs short) girls that have bangs and had them butchered know the persistency and effects of poorly cut bangs... at least for awhile ha Leah was defensive and blamed me previously cutting her hair in past (which I joked but my daughter had very long hair to mold and shape) on reason it was choppy. (Looked same as when I cut) not smooth lines, more less a bowl cut. Listening to clients and what their needs may be is important. It’s not how much she cut as how she cut. The other stylist fixed her hair so it wasn’t a blunt straight cut since Leah was not willing to touch her hair after (I told her not to cut it shorter at that point but to fix edges) I paid, still tipped because I do feel showing grace is best but am having a hard time when someone isn’t apologetic or willing to listen before cutting on someone’s hair. It’s a lot of money to spend for the results. I always thought it’s more for atmosphere but when they are older it’s probably better to go to a professional stylist at a actual salon.

I would rate 10/10 on everything for our first visit. Today was My daughters first haircut ever, she’s 18 months old. I was just as scared to let someone cut her hair in fear of it looking chopped up or awful. But I am so glad I made the decision to take her to cookie cutters and make the 45 minute from our home to them. It was worth the drive and the price, along with outstanding patience service. Tina was the stylist who cut my daughters hair and we will be requesting her in the future for all my daughters haircuts. She was patient and understanding.
