The salon itself was lovely and the staff were very attentive but the cut itself left something to be desired. I was having quite a lot taken off, and the hairdresser went straight in and chopped off the whole length rather than doing smaller increments to make sure I was getting the length I was looking for. When I requested more layering, he said that my hair was now too short for layers - even a bob can have layers and my hair is still below my shoulders. At the start of the cut, I asked that the ends NOT be blunt. He misheard and cut a straight line across the bottom without double checking and was unable to satisfactorily fix it. Overall, there was a lack of attention to communication, and the hairdresser paid more attention to his own choices than what I, as the person who has to live with the cut, wanted. The salon was very nice, and the haircut is not bad but it is not what I wanted or asked for

The staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. The price was reasonable if I had received what I asked for. I showed a photo of the colour I wanted and explained that it was uneven at the moment from my previous hairdresser and wanted that fixed. Unfortunately the foils were only applied to the previous spots so my hair is in the exact way as I went in the only difference is the foils have made it a shade lighter. I did not receive the foils in all the places I asked for and the foils I did receive are not the same on both sides.

The staff overall were very friendly, including my particular hairdresser. Although, my hairdresser didn't really seem interested or didn't listen very well to what I wanted, or give me a chance to say yes or no to the process. So I didn't end up with my initial idea. Lovely place though.

I found overall the staff were curious and business like My styler was running half an hour late which was really frustrating as I had made it very clear when I booked my appointment I only had one to be away from work. This made me really anxious and I didn't enjoy the experience as much The shampoo was ordinary. however the the style/cut is good and easy to manage myself and I will revisit the salon

Don’t get me wrong I loved the service and the people were so lovely, but the the colour I asked for was not the one I got which was really sad and disappointing. I didn’t want to hurt my hairdressers feelings, but I asked for a warm red colour and I got a cool, pinkish red which just doesn’t look great on my skin tone :( the colour is beautiful, but just not at all what I wanted :(

Throughout the day, I was put through physical pain and discomfort and left feeling not good about myself. The consultation seemed fine, I showed inspo images and talked about how I was after cool tones, but as soon as I was taken to the wash bowl, things began to go south. An apprentice who was nice but inexperienced took over. She left me freezing the entire time with cold water. She never once asked how the water was. After finally expressing that it was cold and can we warm the water up, she barely changed it and then everytime she would turn the water off then back on again, it would return to cold. The head massage provided was aggressive, especially since we had spent 20 minutes brushing my knotted hair from the foils (the brushing pain was completely expected and I understand it is part of the process) so my head was already sensitive and cold. Not only was the head massage painful, every time she would since my hair from the top of my hairline, she would harshly press the tap head against my head, digging into my skull repeatedly. Once we got back to the chair and began to dry my hair, I noticed it was a mixture of both warm and cool tones. They were catering to the fact and took me back to the bowl to retone. And once again, I had the same painful and cold experience with the same apprentice. Usually, the wash bowl is meant to be the most enjoyable part of the entire salon experience but for the first time in my 13years of getting my hair done, it was an experience was couldn’t wait to be over. I would recommend providing more training on hair cuts (face framing and layers) and water bowl experience. Everyone was lovely which makes it difficult to leave this review of my painful experience. I left the salon sore and feeling defeated after continuously having to express my concerns and getting a mid experience.
