We’ve gone to Cookie Cutters many times and my kids have always. loved it. But today the hair stylist cut my daughter’s finger. She didn’t see her lifting her hand and she cut her finger while trimming her bangs. My daughter was bleeding so much she almost used up the entire box of tissues to put pressure on the tip of her finger that was cut. It was an awful experience and I’m so glad my 4 year old was brave but I was in tears and nervous for all of it. On top of all that she went through, we still had to pay for the bangs being trimmed. Even though her bangs turned out awful and she was cut and still bleeding when we left the salon. I was really disappointed this happened.

My daughter came into the salon with long hair, and asked for a 2” trim, cut straight across. The stylist cut SIX inches off her hair, and the hair cut was still not even. The manager came to try to help “feather” out the chunk of hair that was cut too short in back. I finally asked them to stop cutting. I will be taking my daughter into a different salon for it to be fixed. My daughter was heartbroken and cried for a long time after we left because so much hair had been cut off. Terrible experience. My son also had his haircut and it tuned out just ok. The stylist seemed very unsure and took forever adjusting his cut. His hair looks fine, but not professional and clean. Overall, not a great impression of Cookie Cutters. I wish we would have waited until my son’s usual stylist, Julia was available. We love Julia!

We usually have a very good experience at this location, but today was not the norm. Both of my children's hair cuts came out terribly. Uneven, not cut as explained, and very rushed. The entire encounter took all of 15 minutes in and out of the door. I understand these are kids cuts, but if you can check in, cut, and check out in 15 minutes then you rushed the process. The cuts represent that rushed process. When we went to our appointment there were no other kids there. One child just got done and another got there right when my two children's cuts were completed. We will be looking elsewhere in the future as a result of todays experience.

I’m really sad to give such a negative review. We’ve been devoted Cookie Cutters customers for 10 years. We used to drive from Provo to Lehi just to get to go to cookie cutters. Then, we started at Orem when it opened. We always received such great service and absolutely fantastic haircuts. I referred all of our friends and refused to take my kids anywhere else because the experience and quality for our money was superb. When we moved to Spanish Fork, I was so excited to see a cookie cutters opening right near our house. We’ve been to this location 5 times and had a terrible experience every time. In every case, the staff has behaved unprofessionally and treated us rudely. They can’t answer simple questions about products to use or how to enhance natural curl. And, we’ve received at least one really terrible hair cut every time we’ve been there(I always take 3 kids at a time). It’s just not worth paying $20.00 a child just so they can sit in a car. I can get a better cut for a cheaper price elsewhere…and be treated like the staff wants our business. Today’s cut was a back to school haircut and it’s terrible-and do short we can’t do much to fix it before school pictures. I’m sorry to be such a downer, we’re just really disappointed.

I showed a pic of what my son wanted and she did something completely different I asked about it in the middle of it and she didn't try to fix it then she said she was done I refused to pay for a haircut that was not even close to what I asked and the 2 girls working would not even try to fix it. I am disappointed it took 4 business days to even get in to get it done
